2. What Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password when you register.
• Profile information: display name, bio, avatar, and branding preferences you provide.
• Photos and metadata: images you upload and associated EXIF data (camera model, GPS location, settings).
• Payment information: billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and road view counts.
• Device data: browser type, IP address, and operating system.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the PhotoRoads service.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails such as password resets and billing receipts.
• To send product announcements and notifications (you can opt out at any time).
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party services required to operate PhotoRoads:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Cloudflare R2 — file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
• Resend — transactional email

Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

5. Public Content

Roads and photos you mark as public are visible to anyone on the internet. EXIF data including GPS coordinates may be visible in your public Roads. You are responsible for reviewing what information is included in your uploads before making them public.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your data at any time from your account settings.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage solely for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

PhotoRoads is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at legal@photoroads.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of PhotoRoads after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
